Death of Haydn Gopsill, Chair to the Parish Council
It was with great sadness that the Parish Council learnt of Haydn Gopsill's death on Sunday 19 September 2021.
Haydn will be greatly missed by family, friends and the community.
Lesley, Matthew and Adam have asked the Parish Council to pass on the funeral arrangements:
Wednesday 6 October 2021, 10.30 at the Great Glen Crematorium. There will be a collection for the RNLI in memory of Haydn

British Library "Unlocking our Sound Heritage Project"
The British Library "Unlocking our Sound Heritage Project" has digitised a "Leicestershire & Rutland Women's Institute May Day documentary tape" recorded by John Noel in April 1962. On the tape, various members of the Women's Institute sing May songs and are interviewed about May customs. More information is given in the attached document.

PARISH COUNCIL MEETINGS - RETURN TO IN-PERSON MEETINGS
The Coronavirus Act (2020) permitted the Parish Council to meet remotely for a limited period. This has expired and from 7 May 2021 the Parish Council is required by law to return to holding in-person meetings. These will take place at the Hill Court Community Centre, Main Street.
